Padres at Brewers
It was a beautiful day at the Brewers’ Maryvale Ballpark. Some people don’t like going to this ballpark and say, “it’s not a great part of town;” however, I have always enjoyed it. The staff is friendly, the fans are real fans, and the concessions offer a wide range of options to please about any taste buds. I didn’t partake at this particular game but be assured that they make one of the best ballpark Bloody Mary’s in the Cactus League.
It was great to see many Padres fans in the stands and several that we know from the Madres. Love how baseball brings people together. The Cactus League logo is pretty slick …
Love that the Brewers are using this particular logo behind the plate this year …
I purchased tickets at the walk-up window and was adjacent to the Padres dugout and just 7 rows from the field – excellent view …
The full squad of Padres was ready to play under the tutelage of manager, Andy Green. Line up for 03/07/16 …
The bats were hot as the Padres racked up 13 hits and 8 runs. This included doubles from Nick Noonan and Derek Norris; Triples from Jemile Weeks, Jose Rondon, and Ryan Schimpf, and a bomb of a homerun from Jabari Blash in the 2nd inning.
Andy’s motto has been #TeamFirst and this was most definitely a team effort. Padres won 8-2 over the Brewers.
Looking forward to the next game!! Go Padres!
