Padres at Diamondbacks
Salt River Fields at Talking Stick
The entrance to Salt River Fields is distinctive and it is a very nice ballpark – shared by the Diamondbacks and Rockies.
Today I was excited to be attending the game with Reena Riley – an amazing baseball fan that we originally met when visiting the Tucson Padres. She had great seats today – right behind the plate – and we had a great time!
This was our view for the game:
It’s a good thing the seats were great, the company amazing, and the beer was cold … because the Padres lost 8-4. Now and then it looked like we would get something going and the bats came alive in the 8th … but it wasn’t enough to catch the Snakes.
I did think Colin Rea looked really good today and so did Nick Vincent.
Due to work commitments, I won’t be able to attend the game in Goodyear on Thursday but we do have another story about ready to be released – so stay tuned!
