On Thursday, April 21, 2016, we sampled the Phil’s BBQ at Petco Park.
Phil’s BBQ has been a staple of excellence since 1996 when Phil Pace decided to take his passion for barbecue into the San Diego market. Since then, he has grown his small business into a big business and has expanded into Petco Park during the baseball season.
Meat and chicken are cooked outside on the grill for everyone to see and smell and then served hot and fresh.
Wayne and Rebecca each opted for the rib dinner.
Trevor and Alex selected the pulled pork.
The prices are fairly consistent and competitive at the ballpark. While you won’t get the LARGE portions you would get at the four Phil’s located around the county, it should satisfy your taste buds and leave room for other ballpark favorites during the game.
